In celebration of National Wattle Day yesterday, traditionally recognized as a celebration of the first day of Spring, Mrs Wundersitz worked with the Year 4 Class in creating a unique 'Wattle Day Card' for each student and staff member in the school. SCIENCE WEEK the Year 2/Year 3 class looked at heating and cooling yoghurt.
They cooled yoghurt in ice cube containers and ate them as an ice block. They heated the yoghurt in a dehydrator.
Students predicted what would happen and then recorded their observations by showing what the yoghurt looked like, felt like and how it tasted. They then compared the yoghurt in the different states.
