Last night our choir spread some 'Christmas cheer' as part of the Eudunda Christmas Street Party Parade. They sang beautifully while travelling on the back of a truck that was decorated by our students. YR 6 Graduation Dinner
Each year our Graduating Class get to change out of their uniform and get 'dressed up' for the annual Graduation Dinner! And didn't they look the part! 🤩
The group travelled to Angaston last night with their teachers Mrs Cluse & Mr Bowmer where they enjoyed dinner at the Company Kitchen along with a small group of staff.

Dyslexia Aware at St Johns......Dyslexia is a specific learning disability that causes difficulties with word recognition, spelling and decoding. Strategies used to support Dyslexia in the classroom also help other students to reach their full learning potential. As a Dyslexia Aware School, teachers at St. John’s use a range of strategies including a whole school approach to explicit phonics teaching, decodable reading books and multisensory approaches to learning to give students every opportunity to achieve.
Last Friday students wore a red accessory to help promote a better understanding of Dyslexia. During Assembly, Mrs. Janice McPhail, a Literacy specialist teacher and Literacy consultant, talked to students about learning with Dyslexia and shared some inspiring stories from people who have overcome learning challenges and achieved great things #dyslexiaawareness

Today Mrs Cluse and 18 of our students ventured off to Tanunda to compete against students from other Lutheran schools in the Faith Lutheran Challenge. A great day of competition was had by all 😊
Our students finished in second place to the overall winners of the aggregate shield and can be very proud of their efforts! 👏👏👏
